Lost – Cockatiel – Coconut Grove (Nutt)

Our Cockatiel, named Nutt, flew away from where he was being kept in on Totem Rd., Coconut Grove on Wednesday 23/5/12. He is only about 6 months old and is very friendly and knows quite a few tunes.

He isn’t a strong flier as he was due to have his wings clipped again. They’d only just grown to the stage where he could fly.

We are offering a reward for his return. The only outstanding features he has are a brown line down the left side of his beak and he can whistle the theme to Alfred Hitchcock.

We are still living in hope that Obi is well and being spoilt by someone else but do not have much confidence. We have since had another of our precious babies die so we are feeling very sad. Espar was 16 years old and recently gone blind. She died peacefully at home.

Lost – Cat – Grey (Moscow)

Our beloved family pet cat Moscow has been missing from Woodroffe since last Monday (16/7/12).  He is desexed (although still looks whole), pure grey with some faint dark grey stripes on his tail, he has 1 distinctive pure white long whisker (all the others a grey/black), short-medium length coat.  He is microchipped, but doesn’t wear a collar.  He is fairly affectionate and likes a scratch but is not a lap cat and he usually only vocal around meal time.

Before he went missing, he’d had an ulcer in one of his teeth. We got it fixed but it took a while to get him to eat properly again. He was a little skinny when he went missing, but not undernourished. Because he’s so beautiful maybe someone out there thought he was neglected and decided to care for him. My gorgeous parrot “Jakey” has somehow escaped the house last night whilst I was at work. She was last seen at 6pm 9/7/12. She is a much loved member of the family for many years now and I cannot imagine life without her.

Jakey is very friendly and does not bite. She loves to talk and may ask if you’re ready for bedtime from as early as 6am! I would not be surprised if she has landed on someone wandering around in their yard last night as she really does think she’s human.

She’s primarily black but a large part of her back is a redish brown colour. She also has a purely white chest and stomach  and also has white fur on her paws and the tip of her tail.

She should still have one black collar with an attached tag. The tag is a steel disc with one side left silver and the other coloured red with the image of a house on it in silver. This tag has an engraved phone number on the silver side that lists the phone number as 89 482 117. Unfortunately we had to change our phone line a few months before she went missing so this number is no longer in use.

She’s quite friendly once she gets to know you but she is fairly haughty before then.

My beautiful lorikeet ‘BIC BIC’ has gone missing from parap on Friday 7/7/12 at about 12.30pm..
He is a green collared lorikeet, very bright colours, has a little black mark on his beak, he is a friendly bird but may bite if he feels threatened, he has a distinct whistle and laugh, can say his own name, very friendly with cats and dogs (which might not help in a bad situation like this) and loves to steal your drinks too..

‘BIC BIC’ is a much loved family  member and life won’t be the same without him.. ‘BIC BIC’ is a handraised bird and has lived inside all his life, the wild is not the right place for him to be.. He should be home with me and his bestfriends/brothers, my 6yr old son and our 2 furry babies.. We need our lil man back.. It is breaking our hearts more and more as each minute ticks by.. 😥
