on Saturday 3rd May 2008 I spotted a very dirty and scared little white dog (looked like a matlese) running out of the grasslands between hibiscus and Lake Leanyer. I pulled over and tried to encourage it to come to me put it ran off, I followed it a little and tried again but had no success, I didn’t want to scare it on to the road. I tried to follow it some more but lost sight off it. I have been looking out for it ever since. If you’ve lost a little white dog in this area then don’t give up, this little fella could very well be yours.
Thank you for being so prompt in putting our dogs on the website…they were found roaming the streets together. A resident called the palmerston city council who picked them up. Palmerston city council also referred us to this website on the day they were lost & we will be sure to spread the word. Many thanks.
Domestic short/medium haired cat
MISSY HAS BEEN FOUND. A BIT DUSTED UP BUT GLAD TO BE HOME.
MANY THANKS FOR YOUR ASSISTANCE. I SHALL SPREAD THE WORD ABOUT THIS WEBSITE.
On Saturday 3 May our much loved grey tabby went for a walk and he hasn’t come home. He is 7 months old, grey short haired and has been desexed. He is microchipped. Wearing a thin black collar with two bells attached.
Timmy is very affectionate and loves his food, so if someone has found him and is feeding him, it’s likely he will stay for a while. He is very long for his age and appears to be very skinny but he actually eats quite a bit! He is a very curious cat and gets into everything. He can jump quite high (he has jumped onto our roof and back down again) but he is still only a baby and loud noises and big dogs frighten him. Lost from Delamere Street in Tiwi (opposite Dripstone High School).
We’ve only had him for five months but we miss him terribly. Any news would be appreciated.

This came in as a spam but I thought it great and wanted to share with you - cheers Sideon
One afternoon, I was in the backyard hanging the laundry when an old, tired-looking dog wandered into the yard. I could tell from his collar and well-fed belly that he had a home. But when I walked into the house, he followed me, sauntered down the hall and fell asleep in a corner. An hour later, he went to the door, and I let him out. The next day he was back. He resumed his position in the hallway and slept for an hour.
This continued for several weeks. Curious, I pinned a note to his collar: “Every afternoon your dog comes to my house for a nap. ”
The next day he arrived with a different note pinned to his collar: “He lives in a home with ten children - he’s trying to catch up on his sleep.”
I cried from laughter
just wanted to report a sighting of a male wolfhound cross, sighted running
along secret road early morning of 3rd May. I was on my bike so there was not
much I could do about it. Just thought I would report sighting in case someone
was looking for him.
Did you know cats can get pregnant as young as 4 months. Supply exceeds demand. Many cats/kittens are euthanased or dumped each year due to not enough homes. Please consider dexexing before they get pregnant, its much easier and cheaper in the long run and prevention is better than euthanasia. Cats can get desexed at 1kg, or for males once the tested have descended. Talk to your vet for more information.

This site is dedicated to Sideon – a special little ex feral kitten who became lost in the process of moving to his new home. It is thought that Sideon was up a tree for 5 days before Power and Water NT, with the help of RSPCA came to his assistance. Sideon would like to thank the person who responded to the letter box drop, Power and Water and RSPCA Darwin for his rather dramatic rescue.
