Lost – Bird – Alexandrine Parrot (Lulu)

Lost: Alexandrine Parrot “Lulu”. Bright/light green body and darker green wings, scarlet shoulder patches, red top beak, orange lower beak. Lost in Fannie Bay area 11/11/09. Tame. Approx 3 yrs old. Talks a little bit…. Where’s Jamie, Hello, but mostly copies a ring tone, wolf whistles, and other whistles, and bird  noises. Much loved pet. Tame. Please call John on 0414 827 188.

Lost – Turtle – Yellow Faced (TJ)

Lost Yellow Faced turtle – yellow stripe on each cheek . Shell would be 10-15cm long.  Moves quite quickly along the ground, but prefers to hide. Probably female, about 2 yrs old. Has walked off from our house in Coconut Grove 15/10/09 .  They do like to escape and walk, is likely to be close by unless somehow hitches a ride. Fairly timid by nature, likes to hide

Lost – Bird – Galah (Sammy)

We have lost our beloved little ‘Sammy’, our pet Galah.  12/8/09

We had a look around last night calling for him (he usually answers) and we’ve wandered around the neighbourhood listening out for him this morning (he likes to abuse the pigeons at sunrise) but couldnt’ hear him anywhere, so we’re hoping that someone may have found him and taken him home.  He’s VERY friendly (will nibble, but not bite hard – unless he’s given a few warning nibbles and you haven’t stopped doing whatever it is he’s asking you not to do).  He has his right wing clipped, however he can still fly a little (mainly down though, not up in to trees), he’s just learning to talk (he mutters and says ‘hello’) and he’ll whistle, cough and laugh.  He’s a boy, so he has dark eyes (see pic below – (although, this one is from the internet, so it is not actually of him).
Please, if you see him wandering around Wulagi (he went missing from Curlew Cct) if you could pick him up on a stick (he prefers this to the hand), or if you know anyone who has recently found a Galah in the Wulagi/Leanyer, maybe even Malak/Wagaman, area please contact me either by email, or on mobile 0437798494.
We have two young daughters that are missing him alot (as well as mum and dad!!)

Lost – Poddy Calf (Buster)

Lost Bull Poddy Calf Monday 27 July our Bull Poddy Calf got out and has been missing since.  He was lost/escaped from 60/30 Bradley Rd, Livingstone off Cox Peninsula Rd..  He is the one on the left in the photo and is brindle in colour (slight tiger pattern).  number ‘5’ tagged in his left ear and registered with the DPI

Lost – Bird – Cockatiel (Rocky)

Rocky our male cockatiel went missing 23rd April from Annaburoo Cres in Tiwi.

He is a young Adult with a bright yellow head and crest, with bright red cheek patches, his body is grey and his wings are grey with a strip of white when the wing is against the body. Both wings are clipped so he has a blances flight. He like to jump and fly towards people when he gets excited. He loves whistling at feet. He is very vocal. He sounds like he’s whistling “Michael” or “Bleaker”. He has a range of different whistles that he minics. He likes sitting on peoples but moves away quickly if he is reached for, or instanly puts his head down for you to scratch his head.
