Forever Home Needed – Cat – White (Sapphire)

Sapphire was originally an RSPCA kitten. She and her 4 brothers and sisters were dumped at Holmes Jungle around 3 years ago. Fortunately Sapphire and one of her sisters, Silver, were rescued by a caring person who witnessed the dumping and brought the kittens to the RSPCA. Both girls found a home together but Silver became quite ill and died. 2 years later, Sapphire was no long wanted as a baby was on the way. She was taken in to another home otherwise she would have been handed into an animal welfare centre. Her new owner has discovered that she is partially blind. This makes her even sweeter but unfortunately she is stressing with the other cats around particularly because she can’t see them clearly.

Heartbreaking as it is, we need to find Sapphire her perfect home and this is one where she is the only cat in the home. We are prepared to work with the new owners as she is a special needs cat but one who will reward you with sweetness and smooches.

‘Mr. Whiskas’ is now up for adoption.

The Animal Rescue Centre have been handed in a desexed and microchipped adult male Ginger cat. He is a very friendly boy and is a lightish ginger color. His microchip has no details on it and he seems to be a middle aged boy. He was found in the Durack area on the 11/11/09.

The Animal Rescue Centre have had an entire male black rabbit handed in on the 6/10/09. He has a slight tinge of white on his feet and was found in the Durack area. The Animal Rescue Centre have had a very busy monday morning!

An entire male Mastiff cross was found in the Humpty Doo area on the 3/10/09. *Reunited with his owners today!!7/10/09*

An entire male Staffy mix was found in the Howard River area. He is a young adult around 8/9 months of age and is a dark brindle. He was handed into the rescue centre on the 5/10/09 but was found approximately 2 weeks ago. is now up for adoption 25/10/09

An entire male Ridgeback type (with no ridge)was handed in on the 5/10/09. *Reunited with his owners today!!7/10/09*

A desexed male Maltese type was found in the Bakewell area. He is white and black and has recently been clipped. He is microchipped but the details are not current. His name is or was ‘Maxy’. *Update 7/10/09 he is now at the PCC pound*

Forever Home Needed – Cat – tabby (Sylvester)

Sylvester – a beautiful dark silvery tabby was found ragged, starving and living on the streets some months ago. He was caught and taken to the pound where he found his way into the hearts of the staff there.

Normally Sylvester wouldn’t have stood much of a chance but this little cat’s character and determination to make the best of some pretty poor odds struck a cord for staff and he is still there, waiting patiently. Its not much of a life for a 6 month old kitten to be stuck in a cage all day and Sylvester is longing for his own home where he can play, cuddle and be somebody’s best companion.
