Found (RIP) – Dog – large

Unfortunatley this dog has been hit by car on Dick Ward Drive Ludmilla and is dead, lying on the verge rolling back to the bush about 50m back from Fitzer Drive heading to city on left side before the Minarama bus stop, cannot be seen from road but from walking track below road.  Looks like a staffy/mastiff/rotty type cross tan with darker nose no collar large possibly 40 kilos.  Could not see what sex as had my dog with me at time and did not want to go too close.  Am advising the council pick up collection contractor today.

Found – Dog – large brown bloodhound type

Yes it’s certainly on again, lost & frightened dogs thanks to the damn fireworks!!
We have taken into our care, a large dark brown / black bloodhound type dog.   He is a very old animal & absolutely frantic with the noise of the fireworks.  He is registered with the DCC and his tag is yellow  #91207 & he is wearing a leather collar. found in Wagaman We are OK to hold him for a day or two, in our backyard where he is safe and sound.   We imagine now that some poor frantic family will be searching for this lovely old lad.   He is scared of the fireworks, our own two little dogs are scared of him & the fireworks.   Should make for a very interesting night all round, it is not quite 9pm & you can bet idiots will continue well into the wee hours in spite of the legal  “ceasefire” time, so we are in for along noisy night!!
If you have lost this poor old fellow, please call on mobile 0458 817 799 -  24 hours.
Top marks to TELAF, you are an absolute godsend!!
