Forever home needed – Cat (kitten) – black (PAWS)

The Animal Rescue Centre (PAWS) have been handed in a 10 week old male black kitten on the 13/4/09. Found at Moorhen Crt Bakewell, Palmerston , very skinny. Found in a drain on 12/4/09.

Nobody has claimed this kitten so he is up for adoption  please contact PAWS on 89329496.

All animals who are adopted from PAWS are microchipped, desexed, vaccinated and parasite free

Found – Cat (with kittens) – Siamese (PAWS)

PAWS have been handed in a adult female siamese brown pointed cat and her litter of kittens. She was found in Durack on the 28/4/09. PAWS Darwin will hold her until the 5/4/09. Please note a release fee applies on pick up which includes a microchip.

Found – Cat – Tabby

Found last night 27th April

Large male de-sexed short haired older tabby cat This old fellow has made himself at home at my sisters place in Stoddart Drive Bayview haven.  He waltz in the door last night and will not leave (he was waiting for her to come home after dropping her son at school this morning and followed her up the stairs like he owned the place.  He seems to be not in a hurry to go anywhere.  My sister put him outside several times last night and he kept coming back into the house via the cat flap.  He was found curled up with my nephew this morning on his bed.

My nephew has fallen in love with him however they would like to reunite him with his right full owner if they can find them.  She has taken him to the vet this morning and he is not micro-chipped, however he looks very well loved (nails are clipped, well fed etc.  No collar or distinguishing marks

Found (sighted) – Dog – German Shephard x

There was a friendly young male dog roaming around Anula School and surrounding park lands this morning at approx 8am 26/4/09. He ran up to me and my dog in the grass area next to Anula shops in front of the play ground
Looked like a german shepherd cross – had a red studded collar and unusual toes! – looks like he had a couple extra.
He followed me on my walk for a while and then took off with another group of people so wasn’t able to secure him in my yard. Seemed like a well looked after friendly dog so I hope he makes his way back home soon.

Found – Cat (kitten) – black and white

Found black kitten with white under neck and 2 white socks and 2 white paws. Fairly young cat I think it’s a female. Was wearing a red and green bell collar. It had collar around neck and 1 front leg. Very cute and friendly found in Karama area.

Lost – Bird – Cockatiel (Rocky)

Rocky our male cockatiel went missing 23rd April from Annaburoo Cres in Tiwi.

He is a young Adult with a bright yellow head and crest, with bright red cheek patches, his body is grey and his wings are grey with a strip of white when the wing is against the body. Both wings are clipped so he has a blances flight. He like to jump and fly towards people when he gets excited. He loves whistling at feet. He is very vocal. He sounds like he’s whistling “Michael” or “Bleaker”. He has a range of different whistles that he minics. He likes sitting on peoples but moves away quickly if he is reached for, or instanly puts his head down for you to scratch his head.

1x entire female tortishell apx 3 1/2 months old. Not microchiped. Found in Grey. now has her forever home:

R.I.P.  A man has handed PAWS Darwin a de-sexed adult male black cat not microchiped. The cat was unfortunately deceased on arrival to the shelter. The cat was found Moulden.

Found – Cats – 1 charcoal 1 tabby (PAWS)

1x Female kitten – DSH charcoal color(white undercoat with black top coat) apx 4months old. Very friendly. Not de-sexed or microchiped. She has a healed split in her left ear. found at the Karate Acadamy corner of Tilston and Bonson Ave in Moulden

1x Entire adult male tabby with white chest, belly, legs and half a light tan nose. Not microchiped. Found in Hayes Crt Durack

Found – Cat – bengal tabby type (PAWS)

We have an entire male young adult bengal-type tabby. He is incredibly affectionate with people, but doesn’t like other cats. He was found in a park in Darwin city and was being cared for by backpackers. He is now at the Ark Animal Hospital. Ph 89329738.
