New By Laws for Darwin’s cats and dogs

As many of you will by now know Darwin City Council is introducing new and much stricter By Laws for dogs and cats as of 1/7/08. These can be found on the DCC web site. One of the new restrictions is for all cats to be confined to the owner’s property. As we all know it is just about impossible to keep a cat in ones garden without special cat proof fencing, so here are some web sites to go to for info on keeping your cat in your garden – good luck
