We live in Karama. A very shy, very hungry female short haired grey tabby wandered in at the beginning of January. She’s still with us but very timid - took a lot of coaching and is now friendly but skittish.

Cloe came to the shelter barefoot and pregnant in September 2006. finally in April 2008 Chloe found her forever home. Good things happen to those that wait - certainly in Chloe’s case.

Just thought I’d let you know that some idiot in a red car is running around trying to run down dogs on the street.
A chap who lives on Rossiter St, Rapid Creek had his dog dash out of the property and he immediately went after it. He tried to grab the dog and the older chap in a red car tried to hit the dog and got the owner instead on the hand. The Police and Ambulance were called out but unfortunately he can’t elaborate at all on the description of the car. He just remembers the driver as being an older man not a young hoon.
Thank you everyone, Kyro has found a new home, going to a trustworthy mature owner who is desexing him beforehand! Yay!

The RSPCA is often the place where lost animals end up. Please keep checking the shelter. Only you know your animal, the staff will not necessarily be able to identify your pet from others in the shelter.
This site is dedicated to Sideon – a special little ex feral kitten who became lost in the process of moving to his new home. It is thought that Sideon was up a tree for 5 days before Power and Water NT, with the help of RSPCA came to his assistance. Sideon would like to thank the person who responded to the letter box drop, Power and Water and RSPCA Darwin for his rather dramatic rescue.
