Storm fear – dogs (and cats)

The wet season has started with a vengeance. Many dogs are terrified of thunder and lightening and will bolt from their gardens to seek some sort of safety. Typically there are many dogs wandering lost and scared at this time of the year. If you see a dog who looks lost on the street please think to pick him up if you are able and either call the council, take him/her home or take to RSPCA or PAWS

Cats usually cope better but some cats are equally scared.
Microchipping is an excellent way to be reunited with your animal
